Intentional Parenting is a comprehensive 15-18 hour, 12-week virtual or in-person course that covers human development from birth to late adulthood with an emphasis on typical and atypical development and developmentally appropriate approaches and strategies to engagement and communication.
At LFSEC our parenting course, is dedicated to fostering the holistic development of both the child and the parent, recognizing that a thriving family unit is built upon the well-being and growth of each member. We adhere to the belief that nurturing the "whole child" involves addressing not only their cognitive and academic needs but also their emotional, social, and physical well-being. Sibling Care
Sibling Care
One of the most challenging parts of preparing for the delivery of a new baby is the thought of who will care for the other children in the home. Some families plan to include their other child(ren) in the birthing process, others may not. Either way, having a solid, reliable person who understands the emotional needs of your child and who can be available at short notice is very important to most families
Therefore, The Lotus Family Support Center offers a sibling care package. We provide you and your family with a professional caregiver who is trained by the Lotus Family Support Center and certified in first aide and pediatric CPR.
Sibling care package Includes:
- A one perinatal visit (up to two hours) with you, our professional caregiver, and your child(ren). This visit is to build a connection with and communicate routine care, needs, and comforts for your child(ren)
- Continuous hands-on and skilled childcare for your child(ren) in your home or at the birth location during your labor and up to four hours after birth.
Professional caregivers provide lite meals, lite housekeeping in the immediate play or sleeping area and play options, example: how to interact and care for baby, how to help mommy etc. (Play options will be discussed during your doula and/or professional caregiver perinatal visit).
Postpartum Care
Postpartum Care
The postpartum period is the first six weeks after the birth of your baby. These 6 weeks are a period of bonding and adjusting for you and your family. Our goal is to "mother the mother" while nurturing the family with emotional and physical support. During this time, your Lotus Family Support Center postpartum doula will assist you and your family in creating and maintaining a schedule, lite housekeeping and meal preparation.

Triple 6- Includes 6 weeks of postpartum 6 days a week 6 hours a day
Quads- Include 4 weeks of care 4 days a week 4 hours a day
